In memory of Alan Povey
It is with deep sadness and regret that we have
to announce the untimely death of Alan Povey.
Alan was
one of the clubs long standing coaches, and his enthusiasm and
dedication will be greatly missed by all. Our thoughts go out to
Alan's family and close friends at this time.

Special Player Profile
Lee Harley
Lee Harley
aged 14, has unfortunately had to give up practicing judo due to
ill health. Lee who has been diagnosed with a rare blood
disorder has been told by his specialist to give up all contact
sports. Lee has been a club member for around 4 years, and had
just won his first ever medal – silver in the Salisbury Open,
and was looking forward to achieving his green belt in the
coming year.
Coach
Glen Judd said although Lee is only
small in stature, he is a tenacious and skilful player who rarely
missed a lesson - a pleasure to teach.
