Aikido Competition & Grading Results 2009 to 2010

 

Throughout the year there is the opportunity to take part in local and national competitions and gradings. When members of our club achieve success (which happens very frequently) we like to shout about it!

 

Here is a running list, most recent first, of the various achievements throughout the year, plus cuttings that have appeared in local papers and national magazines.

It was a tough grading, with two 6th Dans (Lesley Hepden & Andy Stiggear) and a 4th Dan (Paul Holding) on the grading panel.

 

All students pulled out the stops for some excellent results!

We are also pleased to announce that after his grading at Pensilva, Cornwall on Monday 29th May 2006, Jason Salter has attained his 3rd Dan!

With such a tough grading panel, it is testament to Claire Gould's determination and skill that she graded to 1st Dan Black Belt.

 

Claire is the clubs only current female Aikido Dan grade - so well done Claire!
